Welcome to Module 3!

Today is the start of our second quarter and we’re excited to have a National Cultural Treasure as our next stop. This is no other than the Banaue Rice Terraces! This is located in the province of Ifugao of the Cordillera Administrative Region. Soaring about 1500 meters above sea level and estimated to be over 2,000 years old, it is one remarkable site!

The Banaue Rice Terraces also give us important lessons on the culture of the Ifugao people. It revolves around rice, from cultivation to consumption.

As our children learn “parts of the plant” for this module, may they also learn the values of patience and perseverance. With parents’ support, we are confident they will all bloom and grow to the best of their abilities!
